We had a few chips in the letters so we added glue and had to paint over. If we had more time we could had either re-cut or let the glue dry longer before paint so there wasn't lighter spots, but it turned out pretty well. :)Feliciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00200167121884211435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475090611737884980.post-3759076004512662622013-07-16T18:23:32.368-07:002013-07-16T18:23:32.368-07:00How did you make and color the foam lettersHow did you make and color the foam lettersAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475090611737884980.post-36810162767220868702012-08-24T08:54:59.716-07:002012-08-24T08:54:59.716-07:00great question Iris :) It was done very simple. I ...great question Iris :) It was done very simple. I cut a circle out of a large foam board, but i'm sure you can use pre-cup foam circles. I then painted it yellow, added some tissue paper and the piggy bank and voila!! I also tied some balloons to it to make it a little more festive and because the piggy banks are a little heavy i didn't have problems with them being blown away, although the balloons were a different story :) Hope your little one enjoys their mickey party!!!Maximo's Mommy https://www.blogger.com/profile/04160406776715513142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475090611737884980.post-63850795139153774932012-08-23T19:15:28.282-07:002012-08-23T19:15:28.282-07:00loving all your great ideas! I recently received a question on "Ho...Hi All! I recently received a question on "How to make the Mickey Mouse Rice Krispy Treats?" I found an additional link that may help: http://www.nobiggie.net/2009/07/m-i-c-k-e-y.html
Or how I think of doing it; Basically follow the traditional Rice Krispy directions, use a Mickey Mouse cookie cutter & when set, dip or paint on melted chocolate to the ears portion. Hope that helps.

Please feel free to ask questions, we are here to help. :)Feliciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00200167121884211435noreply@blogger.com
